Sean L McManus

Sean L. McManus provides comprehensive oversight of both international and domestic background investigations as well as complex security programs. He also manages the daily operations of Global Traveler. As a retired senior detective with a Virginia Police Department, Mr. McManus brings over twenty years of law enforcement experience to his role. He was selected an spent twelve years with an elite tactical detective unit responsible for conducting sensitive covert investigations, gathering intelligence, performing surveillance, executing tactical operations, managing undercover initiatives, and implementing proactive countermeasures targeting domestic high-crime areas and international issues affecting Virginia.

Mr. McManus has been deputized by several federal agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), United States Marshals Service (USMS), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), participating in numerous federal investigations. He has trained extensively with police and military personnel in various aspects of tactical and covert operations.

In the private sector, Mr. McManus has served as a contractor, providing personal security for distinguished clients in the business and entertainment industries. His experience includes organizing and managing security details throughout Southeast Asia and other global regions, as well as leading numerous corporate international investigations across Europe, Asia, Central America, and South America.

Mr. McManus is a highly decorated officer, having twice received the Officer of the Year award and the Medal of Valor for heroism and bravery while on duty. A graduate of Marymount University, he remains dedicated to applying his extensive specialized law enforcement training and experience to ensure that all services provided by Global Traveler, LLC Intelligence & Investigation Company consistently meet and surpass industry standards.
