Who we are

This notice covers the website only. Services we provide to clients, including investigations, employment screening through GTES, ODIAN and ODIAN Shield Services, are governed by the agreements and notices that apply to those services.

What we collect

Information you give us. Our inquiry forms ask for your name, email address, the topic of your inquiry, your message and your confirmation that we may contact you about it. Your phone number and organization are optional. The GTES form also asks for your company name and, optionally, your approximate hiring volume, screening needs and timeline.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, dates of birth, medical information or case files through the website. Our forms are for inquiries only; if records need to be shared, we will arrange a secure method.

Information collected automatically. This website is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, Inc. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information and the pages you request, to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. When you open a page with an inquiry form, it loads Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-detection check that evaluates signals about your browser and connection. When you submit the form, we apply rate limiting and verify the Turnstile result. Cloudflare's processing for Turnstile is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum. To limit repeated submissions, we keep a one-way, salted hash of your IP address with your inquiry; it is deleted along with the inquiry's contents.

What we do not do. This website does not use analytics services, advertising networks or social media tracking pixels, and our own website code does not set cookies. We do not build advertising profiles. On pages with an inquiry form, we keep a random submission number in your browser's session storage so that a resent form isn't counted twice; it is removed after your inquiry is sent, or when your browser clears it.

How we use it

We use the information you send to respond to your inquiry, to provide the information or consultation you asked for, and to keep a record of our communications with you. We use automatically collected information to operate, secure and protect the website and to prevent spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who we share it with

• Cloudflare: hosting, security, bot detection, and storage of inquiries and related operational records for the periods described below.
• Google (Google Workspace): our business email provider. Inquiries are delivered to our staff by email.
• Authorities or others where required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality.

Global Traveler's own mail relay retrieves submissions from Cloudflare and sends them to our staff through our mail service and Google Workspace. To avoid sending an inquiry twice, the relay keeps a record of each inquiry's identifier, email message identifier and send time, without the contents of the inquiry, for 120 days.

How long we keep it

• Storage at Cloudflare: the contents of a form submission, and the IP-address hash kept with it, are scheduled for deletion 24 hours after the inquiry has been sent to our staff, or 30 days after we received it if it could not be sent. Deletion runs every 15 minutes; delays in sending or in that cleanup can extend these times. Cloudflare may keep backup copies of stored data for up to 30 days after deletion.
• Operational records: for each inquiry we keep, without its contents, the inquiry's identifiers, topic, a fingerprint of the submitted fields, timestamps and delivery status. These are scheduled for deletion 90 days after we receive the inquiry.
• Email: delivered inquiries are kept in our business email for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep a record of our communications, unless you ask us to delete them and we are not required to keep them.
• Logs: Cloudflare keeps request and application logs that we use to monitor security and delivery. They can include the pages requested, inquiry identifiers and topics, and the reasons a submission was rejected, but not the contents of your message. Our mail relay keeps operational logs with inquiry identifiers, delivery counts and error types. Logs are kept under the limits of the logging services we use.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you from this website, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing information@globaltravelerllc.com. We will confirm your identity before acting on a request and respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law.

Security

We protect the information you send with HTTPS encryption whenever it travels over the internet, access controls and scheduled deletion. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We will post any changes to this notice on this page and update the effective date above.
